Faith, Abolition, and Socialism is the first event in a conversation series organized by the Democratic Socialists of America’s Religion and Socialism working group.
Rev. Andrew Wilkes, a pastor, policy director, and member of Religious Socialism’s editorial group, will be in conversation with Linda Sarsour, the co-founder of Until Freedom and former co-chair of the Women’s March, on how faith traditions can help undergird abolition, undo structural
racism, and push toward a fundamental restructuring of our political economy.
