An interview conducted by RS’s David Wheeler-Reed, Ph.D. with Gary Dorrien, Ph.D.

A few weeks ago I travelled from New Haven, CT to Union Theological Seminary in the city of New York. I went to New York to meet a hero of mine, Gary Dorrien, and to conduct Religious Socialism’s first of many podcasts. Sitting in Gary’s living room, we discussed the past and future of Christianity and socialism, the social gospel, the black social gospel movement, and Gary’s vision for a utopian future based on the best Christianity and socialism have to offer. By clicking on the link below, you’ll be able to download about 50 minutes of our conversation. Though I’m biased, I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed.
